The Quarterly Economic Indicator is the British and Scottish Chambers of Commerce forecast of key indicators for the UK economy, including GDP, inflation, imports, exports, and the labour market. It is used extensively by the UK Government, Bank of England, and global institutions.
Compiled by policy teams the Economic Indicator harnesses insights from across the Chamber Network to produce reliable forecasts. As such, it has become a valuable resource for policymakers, including the Treasury, and also attracts significant media attention.
