Stress Awareness for Workplaces with NHS Healthy Working Lives

In conjunction with National Stress Awareness Day on Wednesday 4th November, we are holding the session, An Introduction to Mindfulness with NHS Healthy Working Lives on Thursday 5th November 2026.
This course is designed for employees from any workplace to explore the factors that can cause stress both at home and at work. The session explores both pressure and stress and then asks delegates to consider their own stressors and potential coping mechanisms using personal action planning to help keep them well.
By the end of the course you will:
1. Have an understanding of the meaning of stress.
2. Recognise when you are stressed.
3. Understand what can cause stress.
4. Identify how you respond to stress.
5. Develop coping mechanisms.
6. Develop your own personal action plan.
