Whilst many have tried and some are successful many businesses in Ayrshire find it difficult to navigate the public procurement marketplace on their doorstep.

Businesses are successful in other areas and sell their products and services across the UK and further afield.

This workshop will explore some of these issue in terms of the potential to access local markets, how to do it and use this as a springboard for business development and growth.

This launch event is to complement existing Ayrshire Chamber initiatives and to engage local businesses and organisations in winning a bigger share to capture and keep local spend in Ayrshire.

Expectations are raised by the Ayrshire Growth Deal, the Regional Economic Strategy and Community Wealth Building but suppliers will need to prepare and get ready to capitalise on resulting projects and opportunities.
