All workplaces require first aid training which is for the purpose of compliance with regulation 3(2) of the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations 1981. Level of cover is determined by risk assessment appropriate to your organisation.
Duration A minimum of 6 hours in the classroom, consisting of practical and theoretical activities,
plus an assignment and some pre-course activity could be required.

- Assessment of the situation
- Heart attacks
- Choking
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Minor injuries
- Seizures
- Basic hygiene in First Aid
- Bleeding control

- Head injuries

- Drowning injuries
- Diabetes
- Burns
- Electrical injuries
- Spinal injuries
- Heat and cold
