Founded in 1969, Wallace McDowall is a leading metalwork manufacturer proudly owned by the HLD Group. We operate from a 126,000 ft- manufacturing facility located within the Spirit Aerospace site in Monkton, employing over 140 skilled professionals.

We provide end-to-end solutions for all metalwork requirements, serving a wide range of industry sectors.

Factory Tour Information

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed in our media room with tea and coffee. Our Managing Director, John, will give a brief introduction and overview of Wallace McDowall.

During the guided tour, you-ll experience:

First Stage Manufacturing: Machine Shop, Laser Cutting & Forming

Fabrication: Manual Welding, Robotic Welding, and Cobots

Final Stage Manufacturing: Paint Line, Dispatch, and Post-Paint Assembly

After the tour, we-ll return to the media room for a light lunch and a short networking session.

Important Safety Information

All attendees must wear steel toe cap safety boots. Ear protection, safety glasses, and hi-vis vests will be provided by Wallace McDowall and must be worn at all times during the tour.
