RPE2Fit are a small, family run business that have just celebrated their 10 year anniversary in business.

We have over 50 years of experience in the Health and Safety Industry, are BSIF Fit2Fit Accredited in both Qualitative and Quantitative Face Fit Testing and Training. As there is not one respirator on the market that will fit every single size and shape of face, it is our job to make sure that the mask that you have selected seals to each individual user, and offers them protection against any hazards that they might be exposed to. We deliver various different training services, offer supply of disposables, half masks, full face pieces, powered air units and eye protection. More recently, we have been creating bespoke training and marketing videos that match our Client-s needs.

RPE2Fit will cover the importance of face fit testing, selection, how to don and doff the respirator correctly and how to carry out pre-wear checks. We will discuss various hazards and give examples of how this can affect your respiratory system. We will discuss the importance of being clean shaven, as this can be on of the biggest hurdles when selecting a tight-fitting respirator. We will also cover cleaning, maintenance and storage.

About Ayrshire Safety Group

Their members live and work, predominantly in and around Ayrshire. They represent public and private organisations such as local authorities, construction, commercial and manufacturing companies, in addition to specialist consultants.

Many members of the Ayrshire Safety Group are full-time health and safety specialists, but the Group also welcomes anyone who has a keen interest in health and safety matters, such as Facilities Managers, Personnel Managers, Quality Managers, etc.

To promote the very best occupational health and safety standards, the Group organises monthly meetings from September to May.

At the meetings, a guest speaker will present their ideas and experiences on a topic of current interest. This is followed by an opportunity for the audience to reflect and explore the presented concepts.

During the year, one of the meetings will involve a visit to a local organisation. This is to gain a practical insight into how they assessed their risks and organised their safety management system.

In addition, there is ample opportunity for networking. Our members are usually open to sharing experiences and discussing challenging situations.

The Group offers excellent CPD opportunities and can help keep members up to date with legislation changes and best practices. The Health and Safety Executive play an active role within the Group and attend a minimum of one meeting per year to offer a comprehensive update on the current climate and initiatives from an inspector-s perspective.
