The Digital Dairy Chain is investing in the future of Ayrshire’s dairy sector, and the University of the West of Scotland is leading a Future Skills Needs Assessment to ensure that training, education, and workforce support reflect the real needs of businesses on the ground.
We are asking farmers, processors, suppliers, and agri-related businesses across Ayrshire to complete this survey so that future skills programmes are shaped by the people who know the industry best.
Ayrshire has a proud dairy heritage and a growing role in digital and sustainable innovation. To stay competitive, businesses need access to the right skills at the right time, from herd management and automation to data use, engineering, and leadership. Your input will help ensure that future investment in training is practical, affordable, and directly relevant to local needs.
