Join the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland team for an afternoon of Automation and Applied AI insights at the Digital Process Manufacturing Centre (DPMC) in Irvine, in partnership with Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and supported by North, East and South Ayrshire Council Economic Growth Teams.
Explore the potential of manufacturing automation with the DPMC team and see for yourself how automation and applied AI could support your business. This hands-on event features a series of interactive demonstrations showcasing cutting-edge tools and technologies designed to streamline and enhance manufacturing processes. The team will also provide insights into how AI can be leveraged across a range of industries and applications to unlock potential.
Following the demos, the team at DPMC will host a panel discussion and Q&A session titled "Automation and AI: Lessons from the Frontline", offering real-world insights from industry leaders and subject matter experts.

1:15-1:45pm: Automating the Dirty, Dull and Dangerous (DPMC)
Find out how NMIS have supported Scottish shipbuilders and spirits producers in automating end-of-day inspection and leak detection using Spot the Robotic Dog. Understand some of the use cases that have been deployed, interact with our sensing scenario and learn more about the trend towards walking, rolling and flying automated vehicles.
