Determined to Succeed (DtS) is the Scottish Government's Strategy for Enterprise in Education. It aims to help Scotland's young people develop self-confidence, self-reliance and ambition to achieve their goals - in work and in life. Giving them chances to be actively involved in enterprise is the biggest challenge faced by the education system. Key to the success of DtS is encouraging employers to link with schools throughout Scotland to help bring learning to life.
The Chamber working in conjunction with East, North and South Ayrshire Council have employed Business Liaison Officers who will raise the profile of Enterprise in Education within the business community and develop partnerships between schools and businesses.
DtS is about changing attitudes of young people so that they have a better chance of realising their full potential and better preparing them for the world of work. For more information or to become involved contact:
