Meet your overseas business partner without leaving Scotland
In collaboration with Euro Info Centres in Sweden, Poland, Germany and Spain, the Euro Info Centre Glasgow has launched a new service, Virtual Office for Business. The Virtual Office enables business to meet potential partners “face to face” with the use of web cameras. The technology allows businesses to see and hear clients in the other office to conduct a business meeting. Additionally, specifications or complex terminology can be communicated simultaneously with text.
Initially, a company profile including details of the cooperation request to locate agents, distributors, manufacturers or investors, is sent to the other office where at least two possible partners are found and virtual meetings are arranged. The facility has been primarily developed for SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) who do not have the time or resources to carry out a market visit to meet possible partners.
This service is free of charge.
